Leading Law Firm/ Publishing Company, with presence pan Nigeria, seeks to recruit Exceptional and Result Driven Professionals for the following Positions:

 INTERNAL AND/OR EXTERNAL REPORTERS/EDITORS

The Successful Applicants will be responsible for:

i.             Preparing, rewriting and editing copy to improve readability.

ii.            Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation and syntax.

iii.           Allocate Print space to space parameters and copy significance using knowledge of Layout principles.

iv.          Plan the contents of publications according to the Publications style and Publishing requirements.

v.            Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.

vi.          Review and approve proofs submitted by composing room prior to publication production.

vii.         Oversee Publication Production and ensure adherence to deadlines.

viii.        Read, evaluate and Edit manuscripts or other materials submitted for Publication.

ix.           Read material to determine Index Items and arrange them alphabetically or topically.

Essential Requirements for the Role

A Degree in Law (LL.B, B.L)

Good knowledge of the Structure (Rules of Composition and Grammar) of the English Language

Experience in a Law Publishing Firm
